NN Security is a family-run London security company. Our co-founder Chris has worked London's doors, shops and events since 1990, so we know what a good night looks like from both sides of the rope. Our officers are there to make your guests feel safe, not watched.
Our story
Chris started in customer service at 16, spending his summer holidays working at a hotel in Cape Town. Serving guests who included David Bowie, he learned early what five-star service really means.
In 1990 he moved back to London and built a career on both sides of the door: high-end retail at Alexander McQueen, then running door teams for nightclubs, festivals and private events. Along the way he became known as the doorman of Soho.
He met Heidi on that journey. A friendship became a working partnership, then a marriage. Together they set up NN Security with one aim: security that keeps people safe and still makes them feel welcome.
The "NN" comes from their son, Noah. It's a family business, and we treat our clients and our officers the same way.

Chris has worked London's doors since 1990 and is known in the West End as the King of the Door Men. He and Heidi are involved in every booking.
Heidi
Co-founder
Originally from Germany, Heidi worked in business administration and executive management before moving into security. As a door supervisor and bar manager, she learned how to look after guests who need care on a night out.
